Siderurgica Fiorentina, one of the main Italian steel service centers, was the first company to reconfirm its interest to join Made in Steel 2021 as an exhibitor. Siderurgica Fiorentina has been participating in the Conference & Exhibition since 2013, the year that marked its 50th anniversary.
"It is the event that best represents our industry, a point of reference for steel players, a place to meet up - said CEO Sauro Bucciarelli -. We will be there and we hope that the event will still be growing, as it did in the last editions. We expect something positive at last. At Fiera Milano, we will meet both national and international customers, producers, and other service centers, who usually attend the event.”
Despite the economic crisis generated by Covid-19, Siderurgica Fiorentina has managed to continue with the planned important investments. New plants will come into operation between the end of the year and the beginning of 2021, in a new production area.
"We can’t really predict how the economic situation will develop - said Bucciarelli -. We do not expect it to be easy, it will remain critical. However, we rely on our team; we believe it to be reactive and strong. We are optimistic about the future".
