Made in Steel continues the path started in 2023 toward an increasingly responsible event management, aligning its processes with the ISO 20121:2024 standard and confirming the certification for sustainable event management issued by RINA.
Ahead of the 2027 edition, Made in Steel has published two complementary documents containing the vision, strategic principles, and action lines that guide the event toward an increasingly measurable commitment. On the one hand, the Statement of Intent and Values defines the vision and commitment to the supply chain and local area through three core principles: responsibility and leadership to drive the sector's ecological transition, transparency and fairness in ethical relationships with partners and suppliers, and the creation of shared value at an economic, social, and environmental level. On the other hand, the Sustainable Development Policy translates this vision into concrete interventions for all phases of the event. The commitment is structured across five operational areas: integrity and governance in supply chain selection, environmental responsibility based on energy efficiency and circular economy principles, inclusivity, equity, and well-being to ensure accessibility, gender equality, and safety, responsible innovation and transparency, and finally monitoring and continuous improvement to analyze performance and allow the event to grow edition after edition.
