SIJ Acroni is the largest steel producer in Slovenia, specializing in producing hot- and cold-rolled flat steel products. We are among the leading European producers of stainless-steel quarto plates and one of the most important producers of wear-resistant, high-strength structural, electrical and tool steels. SIJ Acroni is a member of the vertically integrated group SIJ – Slovenian Steel Group. We are committed to running our business in an environmentally friendly way, producing steel using recycled steel scrap, which ranks us TOP 15% of steel producers with the lowest CO₂ emissions. We have been producing all steel exclusively with an EAF furnace since 1987. SINOXX is used in the most demanding environments and applications. SINOXX stainless steel quarto plates are available in annealed, solution annealed, and precipitation hardened condition. SIDUR is available in the hardness range from 220 to 640 HB. Thanks to its high hardness, high strength and increased toughness, SIDUR has low deformation levels. Its increased durability results in up to 3 times longer lifespan of your products. Compared to non-alloyed structural steels, SIMAXX achieves higher load capacities at lower thicknesses and ensures excellent mechanical properties at temperatures as low as –60 °C. Due to its strength, metal structures made with SIMAXX become lighter and more cost efficient. The SIQUAL brand covers a variety of steel grades, such as non-alloyed structural steels, weathering steel, steel for pressure vessels, case hardening steel, steel for quenching and tempering, and spring steel.
