Acciaieria Arvedi is in operation since 1992 and develops its activities on two production sites: Cremona and Trieste. It is Europe’s first and the world’s second mini-mill for the manufacture of flat rolled steel; it consists of a very modern industrial works in terms of technological, environmental and ergonomic conception and can be defined as a new standard for steel coil production. Thanks to the compactness and the speed of its production cycle, Acciaieria Arvedi is characterized by outstanding flexibility and the foremost level of service. The product mix relies on thin and ultrathin gauges as well as quality steels. Upon customer request, the hot rolled coil could be further finished through pickling, cold rolling, hot-dip galvanising and pre-painting processes. For a complete customer service and to offer a customised product format, Acciaieria Arvedi can rely on its own service centre. Driven by solid entrepreneurial values such as innovation, research and respect for the environment, Acciaieria Arvedi has managed to reach high levels of environmental sustainability by decarbonizing the steel production cycle, in order to be a reliable partner for all companies willing to create an eco-friendly supply chain. As a result of a path lasted over 30 years, in 2023 Acciaieria Arvedi launched the certified carbon neutral steel Arvzero™, based on the Arvedi-ESP technology, using electric furnace production cycle charged with selected recycled scrap and powered by certified renewable energies.
