Founded in 1997, Aegean Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association (EDDMIB) represent more than 1700 member companies located in Aegean Region of Türkiye, exporting iron and steel, copper, aluminum, and other metal products of more than 2.3 billion dollars export volume. EDDMİB operates under the umbrella of the Aegean Exporters' Associations, one of the oldest business associations in the region. Our mission is to contribute to our members enhance their competitiveness in international markets by fostering capacity building, international cooperation, sectoral development, and sustainability. Beyond supporting export growth, we are committed to promoting sustainability and clean production, encouraging our members to adopt these values in their operations.Our member companies’ key export items include steel profiles, steel screws, bolts and fasteners, steel construction appliances, steel bars and rebars, steel wire, aluminum bars and profiles, aluminum ingots, aluminum construction parts, copper wire and braided wire, copper rods and profiles, furnitures made from base metals, kitchenware products, casting products, renewable energy equipments, as well as various products for automotive, machinery and HVAC&R sectors.By adopting low-carbon production model, our member companies carry out their steel production in electric arc furnace and induction furnace facilities while accelerating their investments in renewable energy to further reduce carbon emissions.
