The decision, shared with the steel community, has received full support by the stakeholders.
Foundations have been laid for a safe and successful event
New dates: 5, 6, 7 October 2021
Flero (Bs), March 16, 2021 - We are laying the foundations for a safe and successful event, both for exhibitors and visitors. For this reason, Made in Steel 2021 has been postponed from May to October 2021.The main Conference & Exhibition in Southern Europe dedicated to the steel industry, organised by siderweb - the steel community, will be held on 5, 6, 7 October 2021 at fieramilano Rho, partially in synchrony with EMO MILANO 2021 (4-9 October).
This decision has received the full support of the Italian and European steel players who will participate in the three-day event, or who have expressed the intention to do so. It is anticipated that in the third quarter of the year the Covid-19 pandemic will be under control, thanks to the vaccination campaign and the measures adopted to curb contagion.
"We have listened to the concerns and requests of the professionals in the steel value chain, of which we do feel a part, and we have decided to postpone the 2021 edition of Made in Steel from May to early October. This was not easy and we have to thank Fiera Milano and the international event EMO for the effort made."
"We know that a different landscape awaits us at the end of the long, dark tunnel, the "New Steel Normal", which Made in Steel is preparing for, and which we will once again communicate in our usual passionate way," declared Emanuele Morandi, president and CEO of Made in Steel.
Made in Steel had already been postponed from March to May 2021. This second rescheduling testifies to the firm determination to offer professionals an important opportunity for business and exchange on the main market trends and research & development, notwithstanding the additional organisational challenges that will have to be faced. The Covid-19 pandemic has clearly shown how indispensable trade fairs are for supply chains: trade fairs are an irreplaceable tool for industrial relations and a multiplier of development and innovation opportunities.
