Rising numbers, broken records, and a vibrant atmosphere: Made in Steel 2025 once again proved to be the leading event for the global steel supply chain. The recently concluded edition (6–8 May, fieramilano Rho) recorded a +4.2% increase in attendance compared to 2023, with 19,252 attendees from 81 countries.

On the exhibitor front, the event grew from 320 to 387 participating companies (+21%), with 34% coming from abroad (up from 25.2% in 2023). A total of 25 countries were represented — from major European players to emerging markets.

The exhibition area expanded by 18.2%, reaching nearly 18,000 square metres, setting a new record. Online visibility also soared: over 463,000 website views, 213,000 social interactions, and 5,000 video views of live-streamed content from the siderweb Conference Room.

These numbers confirm the success of an event that is becoming increasingly central to the entire steel value chain. As CEO Paolo Morandi puts it, this edition marks “a new beginning toward a global platform capable of showcasing the excellence of Italian and European steel.”
