Made in Steel 2027 is one of the eligible events included in the second application window of the “Grants for SMEs participating in international trade fairs in Lombardy” scheme, promoted by Regione Lombardia under the 2021–2027 ERDF Regional Programme.
The scheme supports micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises seeking to strengthen their presence in international markets by participating in trade fairs recognised as international events by Regione Lombardia. Beneficiary companies must have an active operating site in Lombardy at the time the grant is paid.
The non-repayable grant may amount to:

Beneficiary companies must have an active operating site in Lombardy at the time the grant is paid.
The non-repayable grant may amount to:
- up to €15,000 for first-time exhibitors;
- up to €8,000 for regular exhibitors and companies that received funding under the previous application window.
The grant covers between 50% and 60% of eligible costs, depending on the exhibition space purchased. Projects with a total value of less than €6,000 are not eligible.
When applications are assessed, please note that the call awards five additional points where the event has obtained ISO 20121 Certification for the sustainable design and management of the event, as is the case for Made in Steel.
Applications may be submitted online through Regione Lombardia’s Bandi e Servizi platform from 10:00 a.m. on 30 July 2026, until the available funds have been fully allocated.
For Lombardy-based SMEs, the scheme provides an additional opportunity to take part in Made in Steel 2027, enhancing their presence at Italy’s leading event dedicated to the entire steel supply chain.
