For the 10th year, we are proud to have sponsored the I.S.E.O. Summer School, which took place from 3 to 10 June. The course, organized by the I.S.E.O. Institute for Studies on Economics and Occupation each year focused on topical issues affecting international economics and macroeconomics.
The 2023 edition, entitled 'The World After. Future Challenges for the Global Economy involved 80 young economists from over 30 countries around the world, and an important panel of international speakers, including 2 Nobel Laureates in Economics.
The scholarship provided by Made in Steel was awarded to Jakob Stemberger, Ph.D. in International Economics at the University of Ljubljana, who was thus able to participate in the 19th Summer School.
The importance of the individual, the enhancement of talents, and support for quality education, which can be connected to Goal No. 4 of the United Nations' Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, are part of our corporate culture. Supporting the I.S.E.O. Summer School is part of the improvement program adopted by Made in Steel through its Sustainability Policy and is in line with the guiding principles of the siderweb's governance, which recently became a benefit company.
