The numbers from the last edition speak for themselves: over 25% of participating companies were international (up from 23% in 2019). The event showcased exhibitors from 21 countries, including Italy, and 33% of attendees came from 81 countries (compared to 26% from 77 countries in 2019). Now, it’s official: the upcoming edition of Made in Steel, set for May 6-8, 2025, has been recognized as an international event by Regione Lombardia.

For 2025, only 84 events in Lombardy have obtained the international certification. This significant qualification confirms Made in Steel's prominent role in the international exhibition landscape and further strengthens its position as a reference point for the global steel industry. Edition after edition, our event is committed to providing participants with a high-level experience, promoting excellence in the sector, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and business opportunities.

The Lombardy exhibition landscape, likewise the national one, is extremely diverse and dynamic, with numerous B2B fairs, which attract, every year, thousands of national and international visitors. At both the regional and national levels, trade fairs represent a sector that plays an increasingly important role in the economy, promoting trade, innovation, and industrial development.

Each year, Regione Lombardia determines the degree of representativeness of Lombard fairs concerning the reference economic sector and the origin of exhibitors and visitors, assigning them the qualification of international, national, regional, or local events.
