Following its acquisition by the Walsin Lihwa Group in 2022 and four acquisitions over the following two years - Special Melted Products, Outokumpu Long Products, Com.Steel Inox and Mannesmann Stainless Tubes - Cogne Acciai Speciali is now focusing primarily on strengthening its technological capabilities.

The goal is to increase the value of every tonne of steel produced by investing in specialty products and more technologically advanced processing.

The market environment remains challenging, with stagnant demand, import pressure squeezing margins, and new tariff quotas that appear to be doing little to curb it. Sales Manager Andy Vuillermin explains the situation in this interview, while also announcing the Group’s participation in Made in Steel 2027.
